Shoes Needed For Children At Orphanage
Is there a kind company or persons who can donate 30 pairs of school shoes for 30 of the children at Seeds Of Hope. They cost about 135,000 rupees.
We feel we just can not take the money we have got left over from this years donations as we have always said ALL the money we collect goes to the education of the children.
Maybe some of our followers or a shoe company can help us our on this one.

I would just love to help them but feel it is not right to use the money that has been left over from this year, we might have to help another child out in their education this year if the Home has a problem.
If anyone wants to make a donation for shoes please can you state that it is for shoes, this then keeps our paper work correct.

Letter from Sandra, Seeds Of Hope Orphanage:

Dear Harriet I tell you that all of children have started back to school again, so in the morning our home is empty, we only have one little boy his name is Christian and he is 3 years old so he is the youngest.
As I told you children have got back to school so some children about 30 children they need new school shoes, is it possible for me to get a help to buy the shoes? The price of the shoes about Rp.120.000 to Rp. 150.000 one pair. If it is possible, would you please to tell me, because the children are waiting for their new shoes.
I am glad you tell about our children’s home by writing it in the website, and the result especially in August many visitors have come to our home, and they bring us stationeries and toys and clothes for children, Children are very happy and appreciate the gifts. thank you Harriet, you have made us famous.

Hi Harriet
after emailing back/forth with you a few weeks ago I have rung and spoken to sandra at the orphanage and arranged to visit while we are there next week.
She told me they need shoes and we have a greed to buy some shoes when we arrive in Bali. We will not be able to buy all 30 pairs, but will definetly be able to buy about 10-15 pairs.
I have also sent a note home with the kids in my daughters class for any spare textas/pencils/notepads they might have lying around at home and want to donate. I am also bringing sheet sets, which sandra tells me is always welcomed.
we will send some pics when we get back!
thanking you

Good evening Sandra
My daughter and I will be visiting Bali for the first time from the 26th of September to the 1st of October and would be pleased if we could donate the rest of money for the shoes. We would also like to bring something for the children- do you have any suggestions.
