    Hello Sarah,

    Thanks for your comment.

We try to keep the front page fresh with new posts, so it’s really nice to hear that you are visiting back here often. You should pop back here in about two weeks as my parents are going to Bali on a personal trip and will bring back lots of media such as photos and videos! They will be visiting a few Orphanages and taking photos.

While they are out there they are going to try and meet up with a photographer who contacted us though this site as they will also be in Bali at the same time. Hopefully we will be able to publish some of his photos on this site too!

    Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

Surya Children Welfare Service Center Nepal (SCWSCN) is an orphanage registered in Nepal as a non-profit making organization, which hosted currently 18 children, all of them orphans or abandoned by their parents.

Our organization is of a small size, mainly because of a lack of funding. Nevertheless our long term vision is to create a bigger home that could offer shelter for more orphaned children, if we obtain support from international donors. Still we didn’t have any donor and sponsor.

Your organization is well known internationally and is working on different projects in the field of childhood welfare and rights. This is the reason why we write to you, in order to know the conditions and possibilities to obtain a financial support within one of your programs. If this does not correspond to your domain of action could you please tell us how we should proceed and recommend us alternative options for our objectives?

I wanted to consult you regarding what we could possibly do to overcome this situation. We hoped you could provide us some guidance on possible sources of funding you may have knowledge about in order for us to approach them independently. Also we would be extremely grateful if you could write a letter of recommendation we could use in a proposal for funding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to have had to trouble you but we are extremely desperate at the moment. We look forward to receiving your suggestions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
